GO BACK IN TIME WITH THESE 1980s DRUM SOUNDS
For this library, we used a classic analog chain to emulate the sound of the 80s.
It started with a 1980 Yamaha 7000 series drum kit with 7 toms and 7 cymbals. We captured this beast with a very minimal mic setup. All sounds then went through an SSL console.
For the gated reverb sound, we used a combination of the Lexicon 480L, AMS RMX16 and a Yamaha REV7.
In this pack, we include the full gated reverb gloriousness as well as a dry version without reverb, and of course, a dead kit.
